Setup Needs a Role or Location:Your board fills once your profile names at least one target job title or location, and Finish setup stays disabled until it does. If your board is empty after this update, add a target role or location in your profile.
Closed Postings Leave Your Board:New cards are re-checked about once a week, and again when you open one. A posting the employer has closed is archived; if a check cannot confirm either way, the card stays and shows that the check failed. Cards you have applied to are never touched.
Fresher Postings First:Cards show how long ago a role was posted, and postings older than 30 days rank below newer ones.
More Accurate Location and Pay Matching:A role open only in other countries, or limited to a region abroad such as EMEA or APAC, no longer shows up as a match, and your pay floor is only compared with pay stated in your own currency.
Clearer Job Card Links:Cards show the full application link and posting ID, and a link that points to a careers or search page rather than one posting is marked Unverified and ranked last. Fixing the link on the card clears the mark.
Add a Role from Its Link:When you add a role with a link and no description, we read the posting from the link so it can be evaluated.
Submitted Applications Stay Separate:Roles marked Applied, Interviewing or Offer always move to Submitted Applications, so New shows only roles you have not acted on.
Two-Page Resume Fitting:Tailored resumes give each role bullets in proportion to how long you held it and are measured to fill exactly two pages, never spilling onto a third.
Your Own Action Verbs:Tailoring no longer swaps certain phrases in your bullets for fixed replacements, and skill lists keep descriptive phrases as you wrote them.
Reliable Card Archiving:Archiving a card, or a group of cards, now always saves; if a save is refused, the card goes back where it was.
Updated Privacy Policy:The privacy policy now lists what we keep for visitors, guests and account holders, who processes it for us, how marketing email and unsubscribing work, and how to review, correct or delete your data.
Deeper Career Guides:The Staff Engineer, Engineering Manager, Senior TPM, VP Sales, VP Finance, Civil Engineer and Lead CRA guides each gained a new section on what reviewers look for.
